Do you want to know one way to help your child start to love books? Make a book with their picture in it! Above are photos of my granddaughter enjoying books. Her family reads books to her every day, starting from the time she was born. Now one of her favorite things to do- AFTER her first love of walking outside- is to look at books.
Below is a video clip of my family and a neighbor singing “Outside is Alive!” This song “came” to me when my granddaughter was about 3-4 months old. When she was distressed and started crying, I carried her outside and she immediately calmed down... especially when I started singing our song❣️ 🎶 🌳
